Online shop, booking system and trip filtering, development and maintenance since 2022.
About the project
Flying Banana is an adventure travel agency that organises group trips all over the world. Since 2022 I’ve been responsible for developing the website, including the online shop and the booking system, and I maintain it on an ongoing basis. The design was by the Muchahad studio.
The key idea
Trips can be found by destination, date or difficulty — and booked straight away, without leaving the site.
Responsive version
Every section is responsive — the layout adapts from mobile through tablet to a widescreen monitor, and the content stays readable at any width.
Bookings and filtering
Trips can be filtered by several criteria and booked directly on the site. Orders and date availability are both managed in the admin.
Editable ACF blocks
The site is built from ACF blocks — the client can edit, move or add any section themselves, without touching code and without having to call me for every change.

The site is rounded off with travel stories, FAQs and contact pages.
